1)Preparations for the deposit of this data set as an Open Access resource were partially funded by a grant from the KNAW ('Stimulans Open access data programma').2)This dataset is part of a larger dataset on ringed and recoverd birds held by Vogeltrekstation (NIOO-KNAW). Please contact info@vogeltrekstation.nl for more information and terms of use for the larger dataset.3)This dataset was originally published on February 19, 2014. An update was provided in December 2015 with the file 'Update-DANS_Historische-data_Vogeltrekstation'. It features the same records as the previously published file but has the corrected euringcodes and the scientific names in English added to the content. The dataset was republished on December 16, 2015 with the update as well as an export of the data to a CSV text format for long-term preservation and accessibility.
