Stanovanjska anketa 2005 daje posnetek stanja in trendov na področju stanovanjske oskrbe gospodinjstev v Sloveniji. Skuša artikulirati ključna sodobna razvojna vprašanja stanovanjske oskrbe ter identificirati probleme in razvojne potenciale na tem področju - kako ljudje danes shajajo v svojih stanovanjih in stanovanjskih okoljih, v razmerah prevladujoče stanovanjskega trga; pri čem in s čim bi jih lahko stanovanjska politika učinkovito podpirala; kje se danes izrisuje 'kakovostni napredek' stanovanjske oskrbe. Raziskava poda celovit posnetek virov, potreb, preferenc in ravnanj gospodinjstev na področju stanovanjske oskrbe in to s sociološkega, ekonomskega in urbanistično-arhitekturnega vidika.

Housing survey reflects situation and trends in the field of residential provision of household in Slovenia. It tries to articulate key questions of residential supply and identify problems and development potential in this field - how people get along in their residences and residential environments, in conditions of prevailing housing market; where and how housing policy could effectively support them; where "quality development" of residential provision shows today. The survey provides a comprehensive snapshot of resources, needs, preferences and practices of households in the field of residential provision from sociological, economic and urban-architectural point of view.
