Downcore sediment biogeochemical and physical data from Lake Santa Maria del Oro (Nayarit, Mexico)

Multiproxy biogeochemical and physical data of sediment core LSMo22-1 retrieved from Lake Santa Maria del Oro in April 2022. Measurements (elemental and isotope biogeochemistry, visible range spectroscopy, loss on ignition) were performed on discrete sediment samples and extend back to the late 1800s. Ages were estimated using Pb-210 dating and Bayesian age-depth modeling.
