Flight-Test System Identification of Leading-Edge Rime-Ice Effects on a Small Fixed-Wing UAV

This dataset contains experimental flight test data from a Skywalker X8 UAV operating in both clean and artificially iced configurations. The objective was to capture dynamic flight maneuvers to identify aerodynamic penalties caused by leading-edge ice accretion. The dataset includes 106 extracted maneuvers (53 clean, 53 iced) comprising lateral and longitudinal excitations. Data is provided in both .mat and .csv formats. Furthermore, 6 .stl files representing the 3D-printed artificial ice shapes used during the experiments are included.
