A subset of the WP Core Benchmark CFD Set: Deliverable 1.1., in relation to the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation program (HORIZON-CL4-2021-DIGITAL-EMERGING-02-10) under grant agreement No. 101080085 QCFD (https://doi.org/10.3030/101080085).  The dataset covers the computation of the prototypical periodic channel flow (PCF). The laminar steady state  and the unsteady turbulent regime of the flow is studied with the finite volume suite HELYX of engys. For the modelling of turbulence, the large eddy simulation (LES) approach is employed. The physical domain is discretized using three different discretizations (30k, 60k and 100k cells) using finite volumes. The cases cover Reynolds numbers of Re=150,300,600,1200,3300 and 7890.
