Transcriptome of Phocoena phocoena and Lagenorhynchus obliquidens acoustic fat bodies

Whole transcriptome analysis of mRNA isolated from acoustic fat bodies, adipose tissues involved in echolocation, of a harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) and a Pacific white-sided dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obliquidens). Sequencing data to investigate the evolutionary origin and metabolic evolution of acoustic fat bodies.
