Effects of miR-722 on gene expression and alternative splicing in the liver of half-smooth tongue sole after infection with Vibio anguillarum

microRNAs play crucial roles in various biological processes, including the immune rsponse. However, their roles on the transcriptome of half-smooth tongue sole are lacking. In this study, we investigated the effects of miR-722 on the gene expression and alternative splicing (AS) in the liver of half-smooth tongue sole after Vibrio anguillarum infection, by miR-722 manipulation and RNA-seq.
