Glacier outlines of Mullwitzkees, Austria, 2012 et seq

DOI

Glacier outlines of Mullwitzkees in the Hohe Tauern Range, Austria, are periodically mapped as part of the respective glacier mass balance monitoring program. Outlines for 2012, 2015, 2018, and 2022 were mapped from orthophotos and are provided in shape file format. Glacier area has decreased from 2.8km2 in 2012 to 2.3km2 in 2022. The mapping approach is consistent with the third Austrian Glacier Inventory (GI3, https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.844988). Detailed Information is given in Hartl et al. (2024) and in the associated readme files. New outlines will be added as they become available.

New data will be added at irregular intervals.
