Documentation of sediment core PS134_37-1

DOI

During expedition PS134, a total of 43 giant box cores and gravity cores were collected from 30 sites to obtain long sediment records from the Bellingshausen Sea continental shelf. Giant box core PS134_37-1 was recovered from the Bellingshausen Sea continental shelf. The main objective of this study is to improve our understanding of the spatial and temporal characteristics of the maximum ice-sheet extent on the Bellingshausen Sea shelf and to reconstruct past ice-drainage pathways during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM).
