This data set presents the biological responses of organic piglets to three different solutions of iron supplementation. The solutions tested are: oral Peat, oral Soil, injection of 100mg Dextran iron Measures were carried on from birth to 69 days of age. Growth, clinic, white and red blood cell lineage data, and blood concentrations of relevant health indicators (haptoglobin, hydroperoxides, ferritin, Plasma ferric reducing antioxidant power) were measured.
