Structural studies on complex ACu3Ti4O12-type perovskites.

DOI

Abstract. We request one day of beamtime on POLARIS to collect Neutron Diffraction (ND) data from a variety of ACu3Ti4O12-type perovskite-related compounds that exhibit higher than expected bulk permittivity values and a poorly understood n-type conduction mechanism. The purpose of the beam time is to acquire ND that will allow us to establish accurate crystallographic information and useful compositional analysis about these materials. This should allow improved understanding of the origin of the high permittivity and conduction mechanism(s) and assist with future chemical doping studies aimed at optimising their electrical properties.
