Raw seafloor time-series images with an Ocean Imaging Systems (OIS) DSC 24,000 Digital Still Camera at ca. 1 m above the seafloor during the mining trial at the Belgian (GSR) contract area in the Clarion Clipperton Zone.
Record the seafloor state before, during and after a mining-induced sediment plume. The camera is located 500 m from the mining trial site. The ROV tether accidentantly dragged the camera platform approx. 100 m from the initial location. Deep-sea benthic habitat with polymetallic nodules. The camera operated from 17-28 April 2021.
