The hydrogen clathrates of hydroquinone and urea

DOI

The search for new hydrogen storage materials is of considerable importance given the need to develop a carbon-free energy economy. This proposal is to investigate the hydroquinone- and urea- hydrogen systems at high pressure to explore the nature of the hydrogen environment and the suitability of any clathrates for hydrogen storage use.
