This dataset contains fabrication data for the production of fibre-composite building components for the

Hybrid Flax Pavilion .

It includes:

LFW_Sim Workflow Description.docx: A description and the pseudocode of the tool (LFW_Sim), which was used to generate tool paths and data exchange files (DataFile) for use on a 4-axis lathe-type filament winding machine.


Production DataFiles.zip: A zip file containing the actual DataFiles used in production. They have the file format .MPF.


LFW_Wind Program Files.zip: A zip file with two subfolders. Subfolder Program Files contains the program files used to interpret the DataFile and control the lathe-type filament winding machine. They have the file format .MPF. Subfolder Pseudo-code_English contains pseudocode descriptions of each program file. They have the file format .txt.


Hybrid Flax Pavilion_HA-CO Carbon_Production Protocol.xlsx: An Excel document containing records from the serial production of the components of the Hybrid Flax Pavilion.


Fabrication paths.gh: A Grasshopper file containing the winding paths used in prototyping and production, as well as winding frame geometry.


Hybrid Flax Pavilion_Prototype Production.xlsx: An Excel file containing the production details of the winding of the prototype component for the Hybrid Flax Pavilion.
