Investigation of excitonic physics in polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon molecules

DOI

The MuSES project currently ongoing in the HiFi spectrometer gives unique opportunity in the field of photochemistry and photophysics of organic molecules. After two successful experiments on somewhat complicated molecules, we would now like to concentrate our efforts on understanding how singlet and triplet excitons affect Mu in a series of fused benzene ring compounds, which are smaller and less complex molecules, making the quantum-chemical calculations significantly easier.
