Data sets of article "Decoherence-free subspaces in the noisy dynamics of discrete-step quantum walks in a photonic lattice"

DOI

Data sets corresponding to all the figures in the article (main text). This work aims at studying the effect of disorder in a lattice subject to descrete step walks. The lattice is implemented in a double fibre loop set-up. The data sets are produced from oscilloscope traces that record the light intensity extracted from each of the two coupled fibre rings using two photodiodes (Thorlabs DET08CFC) with 5 GHz bandwidth. The oscilloscope time traces are arranged in a series of temporal segments, each one corresponding to the average round trip in the two-fibre loop system. The oscilloscope is a Tektronix MSO64 featuring 6 GHz bandwidth, 10-bit vertical resolution, 25 GS/s sampling rate, and a memory record length of 62.5 Mpts corresponding to 2.5 ms. The name of each file corresponds to the specific figure in the main article, where the specific experimental conditions are detailed.
