I - the upper part of the section composed of typical Holocene sediments of the Sea of Okhotsk;II - composed of gray and greenish gray silty pelites enriched in terrigenous sand particles, gravel, and pebbles;III - composed of finely dispersed and poorly up to moderately compacted pelites;IIIA - composed of brownish gray finely dispersed soft plastic pelites with admixture of small fragments of plant remains and pyrite;IIIB - more widespread; composed of slightly greenish dark gray sediments and uniform dark gray deposits with rare black lenses and clots of hydrotroilite in the lower part of the section;IIIC - (hydrotroilite) consists of compositionally uniform finely dispersed black pelites, which grade to dark gray sediments;IV - has increased density and coarser grain-size composition; composed of greenish gray silty pelites with considerable admixture of silt- and sand-sized terrigenous material and rare inclusions of glacial gravel and pebbles.
