Position measurements at GNSS station DAL5 with links to Receiver Independent Exchange Format (RINEX) and TRIMBLE binary data files, 2021 et seq

DOI

DAL5 GNSS long-term raw-data series is aimed at contributing to the scientific research of Earth-System-involved global- as well as Antarctic-regional processes, improving International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) redefinitions, and benefiting society through enhanced GNSS-derived applications and services. The dataset was gathered at the Argentinean (Antarctic) research station Carlini in the year 2021. Approximate position in ITRF2014 frame at epoch 2020.5: X=1548353.26m, Y=-2544421.89m, Z=-5621100.41m or in (GRS80) ellipsoidal coordinates: lat=62°14'26.665S, lon=058°40'41.863W, h=44.2m, orthometric height above EGM2008 geoid amounts 22.4m. GNSS receiver: TRIMBLE 4000SSi (SN: 3238A01419), GNSS antenna: Trimble TRM41249.00, (SN: 12325440), Sampling interval: 15 seconds. Each of the 365 archive files DAL5_2021xxx.tar.gz covers one day and typically consists of two individual files: TRIMBLE proprietary binary file (.dat) and RINEX observation file (.21o). RINEX format version is 2.1.
