In this study gut and body surface microbiome of two cryptic gastropod species (Littorina obtusata and Littorina fabalis) as well as environmental biofilm microbiomes from their habitats were studied. We used Illumina MiSeq to sequence 16S rRNA gene V4 region.</p><p>Project design allows to evaluate interspecies differences, spatial and temporal variation in microbiomes associated with these sympatric snails.
