Integrated microbiology and metabolomics analysis reveal L-glufosinate ammonium stress on soil microorganisms and carbon/nitrogen cycling metabolic functions

In this study, we combined metagenomics and environmental pseudo-targeted metabolomics to investigate the impact by L-Glu ammonium application on soil microbial community function and composition, and response of C and N cycling-related biomarkers. This work provides a novel insight into for assessing the ecological risk of L-Glu ammonium in soil, as well as scientific evidence for its rational application in the agricultural production
