Explaining the universality of adjective ordering preferences as the outcome of three cognitive biases modulated by statistical learning

DOI

The dataset presents acceptability judgments as elicited by an online task, which was administered to 139 bilingual speakers of Greek and a Germanic language. The participants were presented with a task that features different orders of adjectives and a noun in the object position (e.g., 'I bought a square black table' vs. 'I bought a black square table'). Every response comes with its corresponding reaction time in ms.
