In this study, we tested the transcriptome for Gulf pipefish male brood pouches when exposed to synthetic estrogen, EE2. RNA was extracted from the brood pouches for non- pregnant males and pregnant males on the 8th day of their pregnancy with the EE2 males exposed on their second day through the mid-gestation point when they were dissected.
