Reasons for not taking a holiday during current year (e.g. bought new car/house, ill health), likelihood of taking holiday in coming year, intended location, amount would expect to spend per person for one week, intended accommodation, transport. Ease/difficulty of booking foreign holiday/British holidays (reasons), knowledge of resorts in vicinity, possibility of ever visiting Morecambe, reasons would not choose Morecambe, amount would expect to spend per person for one week in Morecambe. Respondents were asked to agree/disagree with a series of statements regarding holiday preferences. Background Variables Age, social class, sex, newspaper readership, number of family members over/under 13 years of age.
