Osmium isotope compositions and concentrations of IODP Site 382-U1536

Osmium isotopes were measured in marine sediments from IODP Site 382-U1536 in the Scotia Sea and in proximal bedrock samples located throughout West Antarctica obtained from the Polar Rock Repository. Sediment samples span ~500–1250 ka, while bedrock samples range from Cenozoic to Precambrian. All materials were digested using inverse aqua regia and analyzed by thermal ionization mass spectrometry and secondary electron multiplier.
