Magnetozone boundaries and assigned geomagnetic chrons of IODP Site 378-U1553, southern Campbell Plateau

DOI

Using the quality rating of polarity, we identified fifteen magnetozones, labeled as R0, N1, R1, …, N7, R7. The well-defined biostratigraphic frame enabled us to correlate the identified geomagnetic reversals to the Geomagnetic Polarity Time Scale 2020 (GPTS 2020) chrons (C16 to C8; late Eocene to early Oligocene). The resultant linear sedimentation rates (LSRs) are also provided here.
