Replication Data for: Acoustic emission applied to stochastic modeling of microdamage in compact bone

DOI

The dataset contains empirical data on strain and related acoustic emission detections in human ribs obtained from bending tests. These data are used to fit the parameters a stochastic failure model, which will be applied to the prediction of rib rupture. Then the parameters are related to anthropometric variables.
