The special survey in March is on the topic of extended housing survey ("Erweiterte Wohnungserhebung"), just as in the previous years (Mikrozensus MZ8801, Mikrozensus MZ8701, Mikrozensus MZ8601, ...). In addition, there are questions on energy consumption of the households.

This means that data need to be transformed from outdated binary file formats into current software formats.
