Isotopes and UK'37- and TEX86-derived seawater temperature records of sediment core MD98-2152

DOI

Planktic foraminiferal oxygen isotopes, as well as UK'37, TEX86 and derived seawater temperatures of sediment core MD98-2152 from the tropical eastern Indian Ocean. Planktonic foraminiferal δ18O values (versus Pee Dee belemnite standard) were determined specimens of Globigerinoides ruber (white) sensu stricto (size fraction 250-355 µm). UKʹ37 was converted to temperature using the BAYSPLINE temperature calibration of Tierney and Tingley (2018; https://doi.org/10.1002/2017PA003201). To convert TEX86 to temperature, the BAYSPAR Sub-T calibration (Tierney and Tingley, 2015) was used.
