Whole genome resequencing of Fraser River (British Columbia, Canada) sockeye salmon

Sockeye salmon were sampled from multiple bodies of water in the upper Fraser River (British Columbia, Canada) and whole genome resequencing was used to identify variants from these salmon. The goal of this project was to generate a SNP panel that could distinguish these sample locations for future projects and conservation efforts. A further goal was to also establish a resource for sockeye salmon researchers.
