This dataset presents X-ray fluorescence (XRF) data from Subantarctic Atlantic sediment core MD07-3077 (44.15°S, 14.23°E; 3,770 m water depth) from MIS 12 to 10 (424-374 ka before present). XRF scanning of core MD07-3077 was carried out at 0.2 cm-increments on u-channels with an Avaatech X-Ray fluorescence core scanner at the Godwin Laboratory for Palaeoclimate Research at the University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK), smoothed and then interpolated to 1 cm-intervals. The data were collected using X-ray tube voltages of 10 keV, 30 keV und 50 keV. XRF Ba/Fe- and Si/Al variations are used as indications of changes in export production. Additionally, we utilize XRF Mn/Ti ratios as an indicator of oxygenation changes in pore- and hence bottom waters. To calculate the XRF ratios between Ba and Fe, Si and Al, and Mn and Ti, we applied the Ba intensities from the 50 keV run and the Mn, Ti, Si and Al intensities from the 10 keV run.
