Diretmus argenteus (silver spinyfin) genome, fDirArg3, sequence data

The silver spinyfin (Diretmus argenteus) is a spinyfin of the genus Diretmus, found around the world except the Mediterranean, at depths down to 2,000 m (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of an adult male was procured by Gregory Watkins-Colwell and Thomas Near of Yale University to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco.
