This dataset contains large eddy simulation (LES) results of the flow past the 30P30N three-element high-lift wing at a moderate Reynolds number Rec = 750,000 (based on the nested chord) for three angles of attack: AoA = 5º, 9º and 23º. Simulations were performed using Alya, a finite-element (FE) CFD code developed at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The data primarily focuses on time-averaged turbulence statistics such as skin friction and pressure coefficient distributions, shear layer development in the slat and main coves, and Reynolds stress profiles and boundary layer development along the wing suction sides.
This dataset provides valuable insights into the aerodynamic behavior of high-lift wing configurations, making it useful for future validation of CFD codes, turbulence modeling, numerical methods or aerodynamic optimization studies, among other applications.
