This study examines the response of two Pyropia species, Pyropia vietnamensis from Myanmar and Pyropia yezoensis from Japan, to different temperature treatments. Given that Pyropia species thrive in intertidal zones, they are significantly affected by climate change and temperature variations. Therefore, understanding the differences in response between the tropical P. vietnamensis and the temperate P. yezoensis is crucial. To achieve this, we analyzed the temperature response mechanisms of both P. vietnamensis and P. yezoensis through RNA-seq data. This study aims to enhance our understanding of how Pyropia species from different climatic regions respond to temperature variations.
