marine biofilm Metagenome

Microbes play important roles in biogeochemical cycling in the marine environment. Recent investigations through big data analyses have assess the global ocean microbial diversity. Planktonic microbes can adhere to surface to form structured communities called biofilms, yet whose specificity compared with the seed water communities have not been systematically evaluated.
