S=1/2 FM-AFM spin chains provide a rich reservoir for exotic phases (gapless FM, dimer, spiral, vector-chiral, and multipolar phases). However, the lack of relevant materials hampers the exploration of the theoretically predicted exotic phases. The newly reported S=1/2 frustrated FM-AFM chain compound LiCuSbO4 has a special place because it is a promising candidate to test long-standing predictions for a nematic phase. This project is aimed to broaden the understanding of exotic magnetic phases by investigating the recently discovered S = 1/2 frustrated FM-AFM chain compound Li(Cu1-xZnx)SbO4 (x=0, 0.1, and 0.2) using μSR.
