Aphrocallistes beatrix Metagenomic assembly

Through metagenomic long-read sequencing, we retrieved a complete archaeal and a complete bacterial metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) that together represent more than 99% of the microbial composition of the deep-sea sponge Aprhocallistes beatrix. This, in combination with mRNA expression analysis, allowed use to gain insight into the metabolism of those microorganisms.
