Chionoecetes opilio is one of the most important commercial crab species in the world and numerous studies about its biology have been conducted, yet its genomic resources remained mostly unknown. Thus, the objective of our study was to provide a reliably annotated snow crab genome with considerable genome contiguity based on high coverage PacBio long-read data.
