Contains 7 male testis (5 pregnant and 2 not pregnant) and 5 female ovary samples. Fish were collected from the Gulf of Mexico, USA (Redfish Bay, TX) July through October 2010. All samples were sexual mature and showed well developed secondary sexual traits. RNA was extracted as a manner described in accompanying paper (Johnson et al., 2022). All samples were individually (not pooled) barcoded and sequenced using two lanes of Illumina HiSeq 2500 sequencing. The files correspond to 150 bp paired end reads.
