Method. We conducted a four round Delphi study. In the first round an open-ended questionnaire was distributed through Qualtrics among participant experts. Thematic analysis resulted in a statement list containing conditions for successful sex support and education. In the following three rounds participants were presented with structured Likert-scale questions, rating the relevance of each statement. Each question that reached consensus, was excluded from the questionnaire in the subsequent round.

Univers. The group of people were adults with expertise in the support and education of sexual health for people with mild intellectual disabilitites from the Netherlands. Experts included experts-by-experience with mild intellectual disabilities, relatives, support staff, psychologists, sexologists, and sexual health counsellors.

Country/nation. The Netherlands.
