MY-CKD project

The primary outcome was the change in serum potassium levels from baseline (pre-intervention, day 1) to 12 weeks (post-intervention, day 84). eGFR and blood urine nitrogen levels were assessed as indicators of renal function and hydration, respectively. In a subgroup study, the reduction of serum potassium levels was compared between eGFR < 30 and eGFR ≥ 30 mL/min/1.73 m2. Laboratory data were collected from Mie Chuo Medical Center’s elective medical records.
