Continuation of Kelefaa Saane

When Kelefa Sanneh left Badora, he went through Jokadou kingdom heading to Berending in Nuimi Kingdom.  The people of Jokadou suspected that war may erupt between them and Nuimi. As a result, they began to prepare.  They sent one of their strong men called Hamadan Segan Demba to a marabout at Sotokoi Suno Kunda in Niamina Kingdom, who asked the people of Jokadou to build him a house in Balli.  When the marabout arrived in Balli, he gave them Juju’s to bury in different places including; Memmeh, Tambana, Kankurang Taba, Bariya and Tankonding. He asked them to sacrifice a black bull in Dasilameh. Mansa Demba the king of Nuimi heard about the plans of the people of Jokadou and he too sent a request to the same marabout to perform spiritual protections for him.  The marabout almost declined, but his wife coaxed him to accept the offer for the job.  So, he accepted and told the envoy that, he had already done it for Jokadou, and what he would do was to defuse or reduce the tension of the war. The marabout warned Mansa Demba to avoid going to war with the people of Jokadou, because he could lose his popularity instead to Kelefa Sanneh. So, he decided to send Kelefa Sanneh to Banjul to keep him from joining them in the war, then he went with his men to war in Jokadou. The war that erupted between Nuimi and Jokadou was caused by herders from Nuimi and Jokadou.  There was a tussle over how to resolve the problem. When a Nuimi herder ran to the king with torn clothes.  He told the king that he was beaten by the people of Jokadou.
