Universal dynamics in liquid metals?

The dynamics of liquid aluminium will be measured at the structure factor maximum up to twice the melting temperature. We are searching for changes in dynamics which should occur near 1.5 T_melt. Experiments on liquid rubidium and liquid lead exhibit a perfect consensus. A similar result form Aluminium, group 3 of the periodic system, would put further weight on our conjecture that these changes, related to the beginning of solidification, are universal in liquid metals.
