Globally Interoperable IoT Identification and Data Processing

DOI

This is a report of a joint RDA - IoT Forum workshop during the IoT week at 6. June 2017 in Geneva. Several experts from science and industry discussed about the relevance of identification in IoT. The result was that much work needs to be done both in science AND industry on 3 aspects: (1) We need to take efforts to change cuture towards more sharing/trading, (2) we need to improve interoperability at all layers starting from identification and (3) we need to understand how we can organise an "open market place" to support sharing/trading.
