Deactivation of Glucose Oxidase

DOI

The data is unpublished and contains absorption data over time, together with the calculated initial rates. Reaction conditions and the experimental setup are described in the additional Method section. Measured was the deactivation of Glucose Oxidase over time. The enzyme activity is tested in a colorimetric assay, measuring the change of absorbance by the change in the pink product. Absorbance values are measured at 515 m for 59 second, starting at different times after the start of the experiment (2 h, 4 h, 20 h …). In all cases, three replicates are available.

PyEnzyme, 1.1.0

An EnzymeML document was created for the absorption data. The two assay reactions were combined for one total reaction. Additionally, a pH value of 7 was inserted to allow the conversion, this is the pH for the assay but not necessarily for the deactivation of the enzyme. An enzyme sequence for the Glucose Oxidase could not be specified as it is not determined at the moment. As the absorption measurements were conducted after different times, the starting time was specified in the replicate name (f.e. repl_22h_1 for the first replicate, measured after 22 hours). The initial rates for the different measurements can not be described in the EnzymeML format at the moment. In order to investigate the dataset, it is advised to use the PyEnzyme library.
