Hydrochemistry of water samples during METEOR cruise M145

DOI

A physical - biogeochemical survey was carried out in the northeastern and southwestern tropical Atlantic on the German RV Meteor in 2018, M145. The main objective of the work in the oxygen minimum zone of the eastern tropical North Atlantic was to improve oxygen budget estimates including water mass age and consumption estimates. The Bottle file contains data from the discrete samples taken on CTD casts, including data from the S/T/P/O sensor. Biogeochemical observations during this cruise include discrete measurements of the transient tracers SF6 sand CFC12, the macronutrients nitrate/nitrite, phosphate and silicate, as well as oxygen by winkler titration.
