Carbon isotopic data of methane, dissolved inorganic carbon and total organic carbon as well as of macrofaunal specimens and their abundance with depth in 5 Swiss lakes

DOI

Contributions of different carbon sources to macrofaunal biomass were investigated across five lakes in central Switzerland that range from oligotrophic to highly eutrophic. Macrofaunal communities were analyzed (chironomid larvae, tubificid oligochaetes). 13C-isotopic data of the macrofauna and possible food sources were measured.
