Fraction compositions from the nearshore zone of Herschel Island (Yukon, Canada)

The samples (~15g of sediment) were fractionated (=split into 3 fractions: LD, HDF and HDC) with a sodium polytungstate solution with a density of 1.8 g cm³, followed by wet-sieving over a 63 µm mesh. The fractions were then dried and weighed on a balance to deterimine the partitioning.
