Muon Spin Relaxation study on Quantum Spin Liquid candidates Tm3Sb3M2O14 (M = Mg, Zn)

DOI

Quantum spin liquid (QSL) state is a state that spins are highly entangled and frustrated even at absolute zero temperature, which has attracted lots of attentions due to its potential application on quantum information and its relation to the mechanism of high superconductors in recent years. Muon spin relaxation (μSR) is a low-frequency probe of spin dynamics and is particularly sensitive to slow spin fluctuations; it is therefore ideally suited to studies of long-lived spin correlations in QSL candidates. We propose to permorm μSR experiments to study the ground state of QSL candidates Tm3Sb3M2O14 (M = Mg, Zn).
