Comparative genomics of Aspergillus nidulans laboratory strains

Aspergillus nidulans is an ascomycete fungus that has been used in many genetics and biochemical studies. We have sequenced DNA from five widely used laboratory strains of A. nidulans, created a hybrid long-read + short-read assembly for strain LO1, and identified genomic differences between the five strains.
