Interviewcollectie Stichting Mondelinge Geschiedenis Indonesië, interview 1626

Dit interview bestaat uit twee gesprekken: 1626.1 en 1626.2.

1626.1 De geïnterviewde wilde graag naar Indië en vetrok in 1945, voor de Netherlands Indies Civil Administration (NICA), in verband met de opbouw van Indonesië hier naar toe. Hij werkte in het havenwezen. Hij verbleef in Batavia, Makasssr en Menado.

1626.2 De geïnterviewde gaat in op de zakelijke kant van zijn werk. Hij had hierbij ook contact met Soekarno. De geïnterviewde gaat in op de periode rond de soevereiniteitsoverdracht en hoe dit het werk beïnvloedde. De geïnterviewde werkte op verschillende plaatsen in Indië en ook in Nieuw-Guinea. In 1961 vertrok de geïnterviewde vanuit Nieuw-Guinea naar Nederland.
